JOHN TSAGARIS
John reviews your health, skin history, current treatments, priorities and suitability. He then examines skin quality, facial tension and the structural pattern he intends to address.
Selected facial needles are used with controlled engagement rather than simple passive insertion. This tissue responsive technique is the central distinction of the method.
A superficial skin booster nappage treatment follows Acuskinlift™ needling as a standard part of the appointment. It is used to support hydration, freshness and overall skin quality.
Cold laser treatment is applied to support cellular responsiveness and recovery. The light based stage is non thermal and chosen as a complementary layer within the complete protocol.
John’s distinctive ear protocol considers the relationship between nervous system regulation, facial vitality and ageing. Fine ear needles are used during the appointment and selected ear seeds continue gentle stimulation afterwards. John has developed the rationale for this protocol in a scientific paper for professional presentation and publication.
You receive tailored aftercare, skincare guidance and health optimisation or supplementation suggestions where relevant.
Beneath visible skin ageing lies a deeper architecture: the superficial fascia, the connective web that supports tone, contour and the mechanical behaviour of facial tissue. As this structural network loses tension and glide over time, skin can appear looser or less responsive, regardless of surface skincare. Acuskinlift™ engages this layer directly, using deliberate needle and tissue engagement to work with fascia mechanics rather than around them.
Controlled mechanical stimulation of tissue is associated with local repair signalling, including fibroblast responses involved in extracellular matrix maintenance. Within Acuskinlift™, this provides an evidence informed rationale for deliberate needle and tissue engagement. Facial skin booster mesotherapy and red and near infrared photobiomodulation are used as complementary elements, with each selected according to the individual treatment plan.
John draws on more than three decades of clinical experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine to guide precision needle mapping. Classical diagnostic principles, including the reading of facial tension patterns, movement and constitutional signs, inform where and how tissue is engaged, allowing treatment to be adapted to the individual rather than applied from a fixed template.
By working with local tissue response rather than immobilising facial movement or replacing facial volume, Acuskinlift™ is intended for clients seeking visible refinement while preserving their natural facial identity. Every treatment is individually assessed and may combine facial acupuncture with skin booster mesotherapy and photobiomodulation at John’s London practice within the Harley Street Medical District.
Standard facial acupuncture commonly relies on predetermined facial and body points. Acuskinlift™ is shaped around the individual face and uses deliberate tissue engagement as its clinical core.
Microneedling creates repeated superficial channels across the skin. Acuskinlift™ uses individually placed acupuncture needles to engage selected tissue according to facial mechanics. The methods are not interchangeable.
Injectables may change muscle activity or replace volume. Acuskinlift™ does not aim to immobilise expression or recreate volume. It offers a different route for clients who value natural movement, skin vitality and subtle refinement. Suitability alongside recent injectables should be discussed before treatment.
The expression natural facelift London is often used when people search for non surgical facial rejuvenation. Acuskinlift™ should not be understood as surgery without surgery. Its value lies in progressive, natural looking support rather than imitation of a surgical result.

John Tsagaris, creator of the Acuskinlift™ Method, brought facial acupuncture to the UK and has since become a leading authority on acupuncture for skin and dermatological conditions. Acuskinlift™ has evolved through decades of direct clinical practice, including its application within internationally recognised wellness and longevity settings. Experience with a discerning international clientele helped refine a method centred on individual assessment, clinical insight, visible refinement and preservation of natural facial identity.
The treatment is designed to preserve facial expression and identity. It does not attempt to create the standardised appearance sometimes associated with more corrective interventions.
Each appointment follows a considered sequence, paced to allow the skin and the nervous system to settle.
We begin with a short discussion and gentle facial acupressure, to prepare the tissue for needling.
Fine needles are placed with precision in areas of concern, engaging the fascia and supporting the skin's own structure.
Nappage mesotherapy, LED light and a calming mask may be added, along with premium skincare and SPF.
A closing treatment to support balance, followed by clear aftercare guidance to take home.
For a focused beginning, John may recommend a course of four treatments. This creates continuity, allows response to be assessed and enables the protocol to evolve from one visit to the next.
Clients who complete the course may be offered a privileged loyalty arrangement for ongoing maintenance. The precise rhythm is determined by response, priorities and availability, not by an automatic subscription.
NCTF mesotherapy is available as a higher priced enhancement for clients seeking a more intensive skin booster intervention. It is distinct from the standard facial skin booster nappage included in Acuskinlift™.
Skin booster mesotherapy may be added for the neck and hands. When advanced NCTF is selected, NCTF treatment of the neck and hands may also be added.
This is a considered entry treatment for clients who want to begin their skin longevity journey with John but are not yet ready for Acuskinlift™ facial needling.
It combines NCTF facial mesotherapy, John’s auricular neuromodulation and ear seed protocol, and red and near infrared cold laser photobiomodulation. It does not include the proprietary Acuskinlift™ facial needle and tissue engagement technique.
The treatment can be chosen as a standalone skin revitalisation appointment or as a first step towards the complete Acuskinlift™ experience. NCTF treatment of the neck and hands is available as an enhancement.
As the treatment involves needles, it is typical to see some redness, tenderness or minor bruising in the treated area. This usually settles within a day and does not affect the outcome of the treatment, so it is worth planning your diary around this.
If any minor bruising appears, a cool compress applied soon after treatment can help. I use arnica cream during the appointment, and it is worth continuing with arnica or Bepanthen at home for a couple of days, regardless of whether any bruising appears.
Does Acuskinlift™ hurt?
Sensation varies. Fine acupuncture needles are used, although deliberate tissue engagement can feel more noticeable than passive needling. John works responsively and explains each stage. Mild tenderness or brief sensitivity can occur.
Is there downtime?
Most clients return to normal activity after treatment. Temporary redness, sensitivity, small marks or occasional bruising can occur after facial acupuncture or mesotherapy. John provides personalised aftercare.
How many treatments will I need?
A single treatment can introduce the method. For progressive work, John commonly recommends the four treatment Regenerative Acuskinlift™ Course, followed by individually timed maintenance where appropriate.

When will I see a difference?
Some clients notice freshness or tone soon after an appointment. Skin and tissue response is individual, so the most meaningful assessment is made across a course rather than promised after one session.
Will I still look like myself?
Yes. Preserving expression and identity is central to the method. Acuskinlift™ is intended for natural looking refinement, not facial alteration.
Can I have treatment if I use Botox, fillers or other aesthetic procedures?
Possibly, but timing matters. Tell John what you have had, where and when before booking so he can advise on suitability and appropriate spacing.
Who may not be suitable?
Suitability depends on health history, pregnancy status, medication, active skin conditions, recent procedures and other individual factors. The consultation is used to identify precautions or recommend another route.
Who performs the treatment?
Every consultation and treatment is performed personally by John Tsagaris at the London clinic.
How much does Acuskinlift™ cost?
Current prices and course options are confirmed before booking. NCTF and neck or hands treatments carry an additional charge. Payment secures the reserved appointment.
